Corporate Continuous Improvement Manager 

Our client is the leading Polymer Solutions with global recognition for over 50 years. They have expanded to arenas beyond medical markets to include automotive, aerospace, energy, gas wind and so on. They are continuing to look ahead and anticipate the next generation of polymer solutions throughout the world. We are looking for an experienced leader in the manufacturing industry with an understanding of growth and improvement. 

 

Role Expectations:

  • Develops and manages business improvement planning processes that align and prioritize improvement projects linked to business strategy and business planning at corporate and operational levels.
  • Coordinates CI collaboration process consistent with the clients Operating System
  • Collaborates with leadership cross-functionally to ensure effective execution of improvement projects and realization of impactful cost improvement
  • Collaborates to develop Continuous Improvement resources consistent with the needs of corporate and facility opportunities and processes
  • Partners both internally and externally to actively standardize processes, create an atmosphere of continuous improvement, reduce costs, and collaborate with other functional teams
  • A keen focus on reducing waste and increasing value-added activities across the corporation
  • Utilizing data analysis/graphics to identify areas of opportunity.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and a minimum of five years relevant experience.
  • Specialized training in Continuous Improvement and experience driving continuous improvement
  • programs
  • Lean Manufacturing Certification. Six Sigma black belt certification
  • Demonstrated leadership skills-principles and people.
  • Experienced working with multiple locations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible.
  • Good reasoning abilities. Sound judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff at all levels.
  • Resourceful and well organized.
  • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but be able to recognize and support the organization’s preferences and priorities.
