Our Partner is hiring for a new position leading a team of 3-4 talented engineers on customer-facing platforms, internal tools, and analytics packages.
A Lead should be tech agnostic, but if looking for specifics here is our stack where you should have mastery of all and be able to guide others:
DevOps chops (specifically GCP)
Familiarity with AI tools
Familiarity with ETL systems
That’s the stack, but if we need help with a host or domain mgmt, you can jump in. If we need someone to explore a new framework or to evaluate a new piece of software you are happy to help and have done so before. If Marketing wants to spin up another WordPress site on Kinsta, you can handle it.
You absolutely love to debug code and it brings you joy to solve a significant prod problem quickly.
You have led a group of talented engineers before with a high degree of success and positive outcomes. Talented engineers want to work with you again.
You are an independent contributor first, but happy and willing to be a mentor and coach to others. You prioritize helping your team succeed but also place pressure on yourself to deliver on your own work.
You know how to interview and discern between potential talented engineers and Bootcamper devs. Experience helping Junior and Mid-level engineers grow their skills and develop as coders/technologists.
Your passion is coding and technology. In your spare time, you play with new frameworks, explore Arduino or R-Pi self-directed projects, and you are enthusiastically looking forward to this weekend when you can start playing with Rust given its reported performance improvements. It bothers you when something is wrong and you can’t rest until you figure it out.
